About
Jamie is TWZ’s Branded Content and YouTube Editor, overseeing the content side of the site’s industry partner programs and our expanding video programs. He lives in London, U.K. but is regularly on the road particularly with our international trade show presence.
Experience
Jamie started at TWZ in 2020, initially as part of the editorial team under Editor-in-Chief Tyler Rogoway, before he moved into a role that sits between editorial and advertising sales, creating exciting and insightful content for our brand partners.
Previously, he was the editor of Jane’s All The World’s Aircraft: In Service, where he was responsible for updating a huge library of information, particularly with regard to military upgrade programs. In addition to his own research and writing, he also curated and managed information supplied by researchers and sources around the wider Jane’s global network.
He was the editor of Combat Aircraft Journal from 2010 until 2020, and also the assistant editor of AirForces Monthly from 2016 until 2020, overseeing Key Publishing’s military aviation magazine portfolio as managing editor.
One of Jamie’s primary skillsets has been airborne photography and videography for media content and flight-test support in fast jets. He has accumulated over 250 hours in the back seat of various types including F-14D Tomcat, F-4 Phantom II, F-15D/E, F-16B/D, F/A-18F, Eurofighter Typhoon, Panavia Tornado, and Saab Gripen D.
Jamie is now realizing a long-held ambition of creating the Special Access series for TWZ’s YouTube channel, giving our readers and viewers unprecedented ‘on the ground’ insights into the latest in military technology and operations, as well as first-hand perspectives of operators and industry experts.
