One Example From The Army’s Tiny Fleet Of Stretch Limo-Like Humvees Is Still Soldiering On

The service originally acquired a small number of six-door Humvee variants more than a decade ago as part of a program to develop a mobile communication and data-sharing network. At least one of these war wagons, which are reminiscent of commercial Hummer limousines, remains in service and still supporting research and development efforts.
